Golden Journeys.

It started with a shoebox.

Like most families, we had boxes of old photos tucked away in closets — hundreds of them, slowly fading year by year. There they sat: birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, first days of school. Moments that deserved to be seen, not forgotten in the dark.

Then we discovered digital frames. We loaded our family’s photos onto one and placed it on the mantle. Within days, something remarkable happened. Family members who had not spoken in months were calling each other. Grandchildren were asking questions about people they had never met. And every single person who walked past that frame — stopped, smiled, and remembered.

Does the digital frame need WiFi or an internet connection? +

Just plug it into the wall — like a lamp — and your photos begin playing immediately. No WiFi required, no passwords, nothing to configure. If you do connect it to WiFi, the frame can show the date and weather on screen, and family can send photos from their phones to the frame. But without WiFi, your slideshow plays perfectly and privately.

If you do choose to connect the frame to your home WiFi, family and friends can send photos directly from their phone to your frame. The frame can also show the date and time on screen. None of this is required — the frame plays your photos perfectly without any internet connection at all.

How many photos can the frame hold? +

The frame has 32GB of built-in storage and can hold up to 40,000 photos — far more than most family collections. Even our largest Legacy Vault package of 1,500 photos uses only a small fraction of that space. You will never run out of room.

Are there any monthly fees or hidden charges? +

None whatsoever. You pay one price, one time. The frame is yours to keep. There is no app subscription, no cloud storage fee, no annual renewal, no surprises. The price on this page is the price you pay — full stop.

Will my photos be stored online or shared with anyone? +

We create a private, password-free Google Drive link so you and your family can download their digital copies — this link is active for 14 days, then automatically expires. Your photos are not made public, not indexed, and not accessible to anyone without that specific link. Once we deliver your frame and USB drive, we permanently delete all files from our equipment. No one outside your family will ever see your photos.

What if the frame breaks or stops working — do I lose my photos? +

No — your memories are backed up in multiple ways. We provide a private Google Drive link for 14 days so you and your family can download their digital copies straight away. We also offer an optional USB‑C Flash Drive Backup (+$10) as a permanent physical copy you keep in your home. Your photos exist on the frame's built-in memory, in the Google Drive link, and on the USB drive if you choose that add-on. If the frame ever stops working, your photos are completely safe.

How do I know I can trust you with my irreplaceable photos? +

We are your neighbours — a small, local Peterborough business, not a faceless online company. You can look us up, call us, and meet us before you hand over a single photo. We work with one family at a time. Your photos are handled only by us, never outsourced. Our reputation in this community is everything to us.

Will I receive marketing calls or emails after booking? +

No. We contact you only to arrange and confirm your specific order. We will not add you to any mailing list or call you with promotions. Your contact details are used for your booking only and are never shared with anyone.
